Weekly Programs
To preserve the mission of the club, weekly programs are offered to our members. Through its splendid programs and lectures on literary, artistic, and cultural subjects and its continuing provisions of instruction in study groups, the Club has provides for its membership the educational tools for which it was incorporated. A delicious lunch is provided following each program. This year, we have had amazing speakers which include award winning authors, professional dancers, college professors, culinary artists, CEO's, and more.
Fundraisers
Fundraisers are held throughout the year to raise money in preserving the Chateau. This year past year we hosted a style show and a Jump into Spring auction and dinner. Our development team raised funds to replace our aging elevator.
Wine Dinners
Members enjoy our informative wine dinners three times a year. Each dinner has a different theme. The wine and dinner may have an Italian theme, French, California, etc. Chef Jeff coordinates the dinner with the evening's wines. A representative from The Wine Merchant guides members and guests through the 4 different tastings. Wines of the evening are offered at discounted prices through the Wine Merchant. Whether you travel to France for a French Bordeaux Wine Dinner or indulge in Big Reds and Chocolates, the wines and courses are perfectly paired. (This year, our dinners are different. Members purchase dinners for two to go. The Wine Merchant offers selections of wine to go with the dinner.)
Holiday Party
Each year, Austin Woman's Club hosts a December holiday party. Members enjoy a delicious dinner and entertainment. Everyone looks forward to this festive event with our beautifully decorated home.
